"My Bone Is Gi-Normous!"
I got Lucy this "busy bone" and it weighs a ton. I do not know how she manages to pick it up and carry it, but she does. She does not chew on it like a normal dog might, she just hides it. It is hard to know what she will and will not chew on, some she never eats. Lucy has been enjoying the snow except we now have a problem since the 14 inches fell. When she stands on the snow in the yard she sinks in. The snow goes up to her arm pits but her feet are not yet on the ground and she can't get out. I have to carry her out. She has been peeing on the snow on the sidewalk and we do our runs and walks on the pavement and the parking lot, not the play area. Some time this month Lucy will go in for her heart worm blood test and get her microchip. She is 9 months old this month. I am sad because Lucy's nose at the end is red and a bit bloody and sore looking. She has rug burn on her nose from "burying" bones all over, and "covering" them with dirt which she does by dragging her nose on the carpet over to the bone as if hiding it. I assume that she will stop this behavior if her nose bothers her but it just looks so sad. Poor Puppy.

Lucy is trying to bury bones in your house!! How silly. I hope her nose gets better.
Linus has a large, clear plastic jar that I put his small toys into. When he works at getting them out, I think of Lucy with her busy bone!
We need new Lucy news!!!!
